REQUEST SUPPORT
Contact ECF about a stranded Ugandan abroad, reintegration after return, or a community support need in Uganda. Choose the route that best matches the situation, then submit the request for review.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT ROUTE
Select the closest match. All requests are reviewed individually, and ECF may contact you for additional information before deciding whether direct assistance or a referral is appropriate.
For a Ugandan abroad who wants to return home but faces financial, documentation, accommodation or other practical barriers.
For a recent returnee who needs support with family reconnection, referrals, skills or livelihood planning.
For a vulnerable woman, child or family in Uganda requiring assessment for education, health, livelihood or other community-based support.
IMPORTANT
Submitting a request does not guarantee financial assistance. ECF may need to verify information, speak with the person concerned or family members, and consider available programme resources before deciding what support or referral is appropriate.
Immediate danger: seek assistance first from the relevant local emergency, law-enforcement, consular or protection service in the country where the person is located.
Provide enough information for ECF to understand the situation and determine the appropriate next step. Fields marked as required in the form should be completed before submission.
Information safety: do not submit passwords, PINs or online-banking credentials through this form.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Submitting a request starts a review, not an automatic approval. The steps below explain how ECF may assess the case before support or referral is determined.
01
Share the essential details through the support form.
02
ECF reviews the request and identifies information that may need clarification.
03
Where necessary, ECF may contact the requester, the person concerned or relevant family members.
04
Based on the assessment and available programme resources, ECF determines an appropriate support or referral route.
Contact the ECF team for guidance before submitting sensitive case information. We can help you identify the most appropriate support route.
