━━ LIVELIHOODS & MICROFINANCE
ECF helps eligible participants turn practical skills and viable ideas into income opportunities through livelihood planning, financial literacy, business guidance and responsible small-scale financing.

ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE
Livelihood support is designed around what a participant can realistically do, what the local market can support and what resources are required to move from skill or idea to income.
THE PROCESS
Understand the participant’s circumstances, experience, existing skills and immediate barriers.
Develop a realistic livelihood or small-business plan, including costs, customers and expected income.
Provide or connect the participant with relevant skills, financial literacy and basic business guidance.
Where approved and resources allow, provide appropriate tools, inputs or responsible livelihood financing with clear terms.
RESPONSIBLE SUPPORT
ECF does not publish a fixed loan amount, interest rate or repayment period for every participant. Any financing should be based on an approved case, programme resources and terms communicated clearly before funds are released.

Start with a support request so ECF can understand the case before discussing training, tools or financing.
